Preheat oven or toaster to 350 degrees. Prep cookie sheet with tin foil or parchment paper.
In a large skillet melt the butter, then add the maple syrup and heat until mixture just starts to bubble.
Add Chopped Nuts to skillet and maple syrup mixture. Toss to cover nuts – this is when you can tell if you need more maple syrup or butter.
Sprinkle cinnamon and salt on the mixture and toss until combined, let heat in pan for a minute or two tossing to avoid burning.
Transfer mixtutre to prepared cookie sheet, cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or so or until starts to brown, but not burn. Turn off oven and let sit to “dry out” again checking it is not burning.
While topping is cooking make the bananas foster. Slice the bananas.
In the same skillet you used for crumble melt the butter and maple syrup together and then add sliced bananas, toss to coat and heat.
